Hannah Wuerz is a sophomore at Winter Springs High School and was born and raised

here in Orlando, Florida. She is a first year staff reporter in newspaper and joined because she had Ms. Freeman during testing and really liked her. She also took a creative writing class in middle school where she discovered her love for writing. Hannah says that her favorite part of Winter Springs is the teachers and her favorite subject is English. Besides academics, Hannah played lacrosse as an attack here at Winter Springs her freshman year and plans to join again during the fall.

In her free time, Hannah can be found shopping at the mall, hanging out with her friends, and listening to bible study podcasts. A bible verse that stood out to her is James 4:17 which says “So for one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, for him it is sin.”

Hannah is an animal lover with five pets. She has two dogs, one is named Batman and her other dog is named Robin, she also has one guinea pig named Cheeks, and two bearded dragons one named Iggy and the other named Ivey. Her favorite food is steak and her favorite drink is a Shirley Temple, a drink made from soda, grenadine, and maraschino cherries. A show she’s currently re-watching is Just Add Magic and her favorite season is between fall and winter. After she graduates she wants to go to college, she’s not sure what for yet but she’s eager to see what the future has planned for her. Hannah is a super kind person and anyone would be lucky to have her as a friend. She’s excited for her sophomore year and to be a part of the Bear Truth News.
