Prachi Kulkarni is a Pre-IB sophomore here at Winter Springs High School. As of the start of this school year, Prachi’s favorite class is AP Pre-Calculus. She is particularly fond of the class due to her love for math. Prachi’s goal is to ace her classes, broaden her vocabulary, and prepare for the PSAT. More than anything, she hopes to expand her horizons and make the most of this year.
Prachi is involved in a variety of school clubs, such as Renewable Energy Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and IB Club, to name a few. Additionally, this year she is the sophomore class vice president. Her responsibilities include posting on the class Instagram and planning school events like pep rallies. Prachi enjoys being a part of leadership, because it combines her passion for taking charge and assisting others in any way she can.
Outside of school, she practices Taekwondo, a martial art she has been dedicated to for almost six years. Through years of hard work and practice, Taekwondo has become a safe space where she can let go and relax. Alongside Taekwondo, Prachi occasionally helps out her parents and volunteers as a tutor at Kumon. As a tutor she works with students to master their math and reading skills.
When Prachi wants to unwind, she usually watches TV shows like The Summer I Turned Pretty or plays video games. One of her current favorite games is Genshin Impact. She indulges in the extensive world and characters that the game has to offer.
As she plans for the future, Prachi has her sights set on her dream school, New York University. She aspires to pursue a path in finance, aiming to utilize her skills to help people become financially literate. With her determination and drive, Prachi is ready to embrace the opportunities that lie ahead on her journey.
