Anthony Rivera is a senior at Winter Springs High School. This year marks his second year at Winter Springs prior to spending his freshman and sophomore years in Puerto Rico. After transferring and picking his classes, he decided to join the newspaper staff in his junior year. He is now two years into the program and he absolutely loves it. So far, his favorite articles to write by far are sports news and his passions such as cooking and art. When Anthony has free time, he enjoys reading comics. One of his many favorites include DC’s popular classic superhero, Superman, also listening to music and exploring different artists. His favorite artists are Young Thug and Chief Keef Anthony also enjoys hanging out with his friends, whether it’s in or outside of school.

After Rivera graduates, he plans on moving to New York so he can have the chance to be closer to his family. As Rivera is in his final year of high school, he wants to have more of his articles to go in the paper as his final goodbye and a remembrance of all of the memories he made in the newspaper over the years.. Once Anthony graduates from Winter Springs, when Rivera flies up to New York, he wishes to apply to a technical school to study HVAC which helps people learn about heating, cooling, and air conditioning. He says that he had gained inspiration for this from a close friend of his.
