On the third of January of this month, the United States annexed Venezuela from their leader President Maduro, and his wife Cilia Flores. The people cheered for his arrest and now the United States have full control of Venezuela and Maduro going to New York City to try for his crimes of “Drug Trafficking” and “Narco Terroism” and his wife will join. After the successful operation of acquiring Venezuela for their oil resources, Trump plans on looking elsewhere, more specifically, Greenland. Whitehouse deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller had mentioned that the U.S.A had all right to invade Greenland with his wife Katie Miller, drawing a map with Greenland having the American flag, and the word “SOON’ on it and this caused a ton of panic and turmoil around the world. Trump administration threatened action on Greenland.

           While Mark Rubio, however, wanted to buy Greenland from Denmark, Trump eventually met up with the joint-special teams operation to discuss ideas and plans for a potential invasion of Greenland. Trump however was threatened by European powers to not annex Greenland, and his reason to annex Greenland were due to national security “issues” and Trump in retaliation threatened to put a 25% increased tax on to European countries if he didn’t get Greenland from Denmark, however the American government was quick to deescalate the situation before it got out of hand. Trump was also quick to deescalate things also, by appearing in the Davos 2026 conference and backing out on his threats he will not use military force on Greenland or increase import taxes on Europe.

           This however isn’t a new thing as during his first presidency he tried on multiple occasions to also purchase Greenland, and now however as up to current date, for national security reasons, Denmark has troops ready to defend Greenland and will invoke the 5th article of NATO if required to, in which troops from NATO is required to provide assistance to its fellow NATO nation. Trump however threatened a trade war in retaliation. As of up to date nothing major has happened but nothing is to say what the nation has in store for un in the later future.
