Aaryalin Edwards-Burks, a well known member of the Winter Springs Band of Gold, has big plans for the future that many people here at Winter Springs High School might view as uncommon. Her dream is to be a well known and renowned culinary chef with her own restaurant. When asked why she wanted to be a chef in the future, she mentioned that she was inspired to do so by seeing her mom create amazing and delicious food that piqued her interest of wanting to be a chef. Currently for now her main focus is to pass high school and to get her culinary certificate after completing her last few years of Culinary 2 through 4. 

            Edwards-Burks might excel at cooking, but there are other things she does in her spare time that she enjoys doing which includes practicing percussion instruments for band, crocheting clothes and enjoying video games like Five nights of Freddy’s, Fortnite, and Call of Duty.

 Being quite popular with people around her, there are some people she considers her best friends, like Keeley, Lamajah, Gabi, and Jaeda, but to other people she can be considered quite friendly and kind.

            Besides all of the great friendships she has, she also looks up to Johnny Depp, a world famous actor and musician that starred in the movie Pirates of the Caribbean which is also one of Edwards-Burks favorite movies of all time. Some other movies she puts as her favorites of all time include Fast and Furious and Harry Potter. Edwards-Burks brought up that some of her favorite music artists include Stray kids, Billie Ellish, and Alec Benjamin. These are just some of the amazing qualities that this positive and unique WSHS student possesses. Edwards-Burks has many big dreams and hopes that one day may be inspiring to others in the Winter Springs Community and even worldwide.
