Disney fans are upset after watching the recent live action adaptation of Snow White after finding out that the well-known Israeli actress and model Gal Gadot was featured in the film as the Evil Queen due to her past in other movies, as well as her actions against the Hamas Movement. As of now, the movie has a current score of 40% on Rotten Tomatoes and a 1.6/10 on the IMDb website, with people leaving reviews such as media critic Nadira Goffe’s review. “Gadot’s performance is easily the biggest failure of the movie. There are no words for me to describe how absolutely abhorrent she is in the role of the Evil Queen.”

After seeing the political comment that Zegler had left on the trailer video, Jonah Platt spoke out on his podcast known as the Being Jewish podcast stating that her actions “deeply hurt the film,” and that “free speech does not mean that you’re allowed to say whatever you want without any repercussions, and narcissism isn’t something that should be encouraged.”

Many people who went to the theaters to watch the film also stated that the entire movie felt heavily rushed and were angry that the live action’s plot line did not match the animated film. Many of the fans were also seemingly upset, saying that the film “feels more CGI than Live Action” because of the dwarfs being animated rather than using real dwarf actors. Even John Ferguson, an actor with Dwarfism saying that using Computer-generated dwarves instead of hiring real dwarf actors seemed like an act of criticism against the dwarf community. Overall, due to the amount of backlash received against the movie, fairytale fans agree that the new Snow White movie was a fail.
