On January 27, 2026, Marvel released their mini series project known as Wonder Man also stating the full series would be shown in theaters around the world with a runtime of about three hours. According to original comic books, Wonder Man, or Simon Williams (portrayed by Yahya Mateen II) was a well known, famous industrialist, although his company had begun to fail due to the popularity of Stark Industries. Williams then wished for revenge, seeking out the help of his brother Eric Williams, known as the comics Grim Reaper.
After consulting with his brother Simon was soon recruited by the notorious villain, Baron Zemo, famous for his appearance in Captain America: Civil War, and Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Zemo offers Simon powers by using ionic rays in order to destroy the Avengers. However, Simon, realizing he was being manipulated, felt a heavy amount of guilt, refusing to kill the Avengers, and instead joining them to defeat Zemo and the Grim Reaper.
However, the true events of the upcoming series are unknown as of now due to the movie and events taking place far after Avengers: Endgame, due to Tony Stark’s sacrifice, the current plot of the mini series is so far unknown, especially with the announcement of the rest of the cast, which includes actors like Ben Kingsley returning as Trevor Slattery, the false face behind the notorious Iron Man villain, The Mandarin, Zlatco Burić as Von Kovak, and Demetrius Grosse, portraying the Grim Reaper.
