Thunderbolts* is a new Marvel production set to hit theaters on May 2, 2025. Thunderbolts* looks to be a new avengers type team, including members like James “Bucky” Barnes, known as the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), and John Walker (Wyatt Russell), known as U.S. Agent. As well as, Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), known as the new Black Widow, Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), Red Guardian (David Harbour), and Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko). This team of new heroes was formed by a member of the Soviet organization Leviathan named Valentina Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), who has been featured in many movies like Black Widow, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever under the alias ‘Director de Fontaine’.

This motion picture movie is based on this unusual group of antiheros who are tasked with the objective to go on a dangerous mission in the city to fight off Sentry and The Void (Lewis Pullman) as he sends the people of the city into the void, these heroes must attempt to find a way to save the city and find their path to the redemption of the people. According to the currently released trailers, the team must also confront the darkest parts of their past within the void in order to defeat it and attempt to find a way to defeat Sentry.

Fans who have watched the trailers and have also been conspiring on what they believe may happen in the movie. For example, in the trailers, it is shown that Red Guardian seems to be holding back Yelena as she seems to be upset, as well as Taskmaster seeming to not appear in many of the scenes featured in the trailers. Many people suggest she may have disappeared into the void or even may have died, but none is confirmed as of yet since the film is currently unreleased.
