Kamille Rivera

Kamille Rivera, Junior Web Editor

Sophomore, Kamille Rivera is prepared and excited for her second year at Winter Springs High School. Rivera has not only been a student at WSHS but is on the newspaper staff for her second year in a row. Her main goal for this school year is to be more on top of her school work, and have a higher focus on her rigorous courses. Rivera is no stranger to advanced classes with World History honors being her favorite because she has “always loved history, and been really good at it.” Outside of the den, Rivera loves to bake and can be found in the kitchen making one of her favorite treats, fresh baked cookies. Another activity she takes part in during her free time is being a dancer. Rivera has been a dancer for the past 6 years at the dance center in the Oviedo Mall, and has the most experience in the hip hop dance genre. Following high school Rivera’s goal is to be a voice on the radio. Everyone typically hears these familiar voices on their way to school, work, and more. However, Kamille is lucky enough to hear hers at home. Her inspiration for becoming a radio show host comes from her dad who has his own radio talk show called “Monsters in the Morning.” This career is an aspiration for her because she is very inspired by her dad and has always been exposed to the world of radio growing up. One of the best things about the job is “getting to go to all the fun events.” These events can include concerts, promotional events, or even sporting events. As the year goes on Rivera is excited and motivated to be on top of her academics while still having fun with friends and having another great year on the newspaper staff.
