In the world of Formula One racing there have been many revolutionary and dominant drivers, but one stands above them all. The driver by the name of Lewis Hamilton is more than meets the eye. His feats exceed the average formula one driver, consisting of 7 Formula One World Drivers’ Championships, BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award in 2020 and 2014, Laureus World Sports Award for Sportsman of the Year in 2020, earning him the nickname “Sir Hamilton.” The most notable achievement in Hamilton’s arsenal is being the first and only black formula one driver in history.

Hamilton made his debut in 2007 driving for British luxury automotive manufacturer McLaren where he dominated the track in his early career. In 2013, Hamilton made a massive move to Mercedes which ended up changing his life for the better. At Mercedes, Hamilton created a legacy for himself and launched himself into the all time greats of Formula One drivers. After a series of losses, in the 2024 season Hamilton made a monumental move to Ferrari for the 2025 season. On March 23rd, Hamilton made his first race appearance for Ferrari, securing 6th place as a decent start to what could be his final season.
