Emily Espinal Alvarez is a freshman in Winter Springs High School and in her first year of Newspaper. The reason she joined Newspaper was because she loves to write. For example she likes writing articles about political topics and she also likes writing about pop culture. Not only does Emily enjoy writing, she loves to read as well. One of her favorite book genres is romance and occasionally dark romance. Another hobby Emily has is singing —she loves to listen to her favorite songs by Frank Ocean  and Bad Bunny. But her favorite musical artist of all time is the K-Pop band Stray Kids, for whom she holds a deep passion. Her bias (which means your favorite member in K-Pop) of the band is Han and Lee Know they are her all time favorite. In her free time she  also loves to produce music and she creates all types of music. Additionally she likes to do in her free time is watch YouTube, including videos from her favorite band, Stray kids core and Flamingo. Emily would describe her personality as sociable since she loves to talk and make new friends, but she also loves her alone time occasionally. She has three different pets, including 5-year-old cat Fezzy, 2-year-old cat Rory, and the almost 11-year-old dog Nekoda. Sometimes Emily likes to play video games, which include any sort of adventure games, Kor, and Five Nights At Freddies. If she had to go to a deserted island for a year she would bring: her phone, her headphones, and Buldak noodles since they are her favorite late night snack. If she had three wishes she would wish for $500,000, happiness, and world peace. Emily hopes to become an inspirational role model for people at WSHS and wants to spread happiness and smiles.
