The NBA season is coming to a close, and it’s a tight race for the Finals trophy. It’s Lebron and the Lakers vs Jimmy Butler and the Heat. The Heat’s season is nothing short of magical coming off a hot run at Disney’s Wide World of Sports playoff bubble amassing wins against strong contending teams. In the first round they took down the Indiana Pacers in a 4-0 sweep.

In the second round they beat the first seed Milwaukee Bucks in five games. Then in the third, they took down the Boston Celtics in six games. The hero in their playoff run has been the rookie Tyler Herro who put up 37 points to close out their victory against the Celtics.

The Lakers’ season was just as impressive, taking down the Portland Trailblazers, Houston Rockets, and Denver Nuggets all in five games each. With Lebron and Anthony Davis at the helm, the Lakers are a near impossible team to beat. As of now the Lakers lead the series 3-1 with Lebron and AD leading the charge in game four with 50 points combined, and previously Jimmy Butler leading the Heat to a huge win in game three with 40 points 13 assists and 11 rebounds.

In games one, two, and four, the Lakers’ big men Lebron and Anthony Davis led them to victory and now look to respond with a game five win to close out the series. Throughout the playoffs they have both been amazing with Davis’ playoff high being 37 points and Lebron’s being 38 points. Lebron has been in the league for many years and has won three finals so far. If he is able to win it again this year it may solidify him as the greatest of all time.
