Being An Exchange Student in a Club

Nutrada Ketanun, Student Contributor

I’m Nutrada Ketanun and I’m in the Interact club which, is a part of the Rotary Exchange program.

As a part of the Rotary program, I am active in the Interact program which gives students the chance to make a difference in their community. The Interact program mission statement offers more information,

“Interact gives students ages 12-18 the chance to make a real difference while having fun. Every Interact club carries out two service projects a year: one that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding.”

Interact clubs organize at least two projects every year, one that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding. Rotary club sponsors guide and mentor Interactors as they carry out projects and develop leadership skills.

The benefits of joining Interact club is that you get to take action to make a difference in your school and community, discover new cultures and promote international understanding, become a good leader in your community, and have fun. You also get to make many new friends from your high school or from different countries around the world.
