Makayla Thomas is a junior at Winter Springs High School who is on the Winter Springs Varsity Lacrosse team. Thomas is going on year 3 playing lacrosse position midfield and attack. When she is not playing lacrosse, she is hanging out with her friends, going to the beach, and traveling. Thomas’ greatest accomplishment in lacrosse is scoring for her team. Another one of her greatest accomplishments is assisting at tuff end of the season games. For Thomas’ future as of right now, she wants to major in business or design. Before she started high school lacrosse she participated in All Star Cheer, but she has always wanted to play lacrosse. Finally, years later she decided to try it out when she got to high school. Thomas chose to play lacrosse because she had always been very athletic and wanted to start a different sport while making new friendships.
