Ruby Sanborn is a sophomore at Winter Springs High School and a staff reporter for the Bear Truth News. She wants to become an architect when she is older and she is very passionate about attending The University of Florida. Currently, her favorite class is world history. Although she wants to explore the architecture field, she enjoys learning about history as well. She said if architecture doesn’t work out for her, then she would love to explore jobs that relate to history as an alternative. Ruby said her favorite part of WSHS is how many clubs and programs there are and how many opportunities the school gives the students. Meanwhile at home, Ruby enjoys reading, watching tv, and hanging out with friends. She has a mom, dad, little sister, and two dogs at home that she also enjoys spending time with. Despite the fact she has lived in Florida her whole life, she is very interested in traveling the world in the future. Some of the places she wants to travel are Puerto Rico, the Philippines, Spain, and many more. Her two dogs are named Willow and Buddy, one is a beagle and the other is a pitbull mix. She loves them very much and is very excited to travel the world with them in the future.
