Aria Tobar is the Head Copy Editor for the Bear Truth News. She is excited for her second year at Winter Springs, and her sophomore year as an IB candidate. She primarily writes entertainment articles, and is eager to continue contributing her voice to the Bear Truth. Her favorite thing about Winter Springs is the variety in extracurriculars. This year, her goals are to join more clubs and hone her copy editing skills, and she is excited for Chorus. After high school, Tobar hopes to study writing at NYU or Harvard.  In her spare time, she enjoys playing guitar, drawing, and playing video games. 

After school, Aria can be found shopping for clothes, records, and books. Tobar loves to read novels; her favorite book genre is dystopian. Currently, she is reading The Passage by Justin Cronin. She also enjoys watching television; her favorite show right now is The Last of Us. Aria lives at home with her parents, younger brother, and french bulldog; she loves to spend time with friends and family. Tobar cannot wait to experience her sophomore year with the Bear Truth News; she is looking forward to another great year at Winter Springs High School.
