Adriana Monsanto is a sophomore IB candidate at Winter Springs High School, and a returning Bear Truth News Copy Editor. With a passion for writing and words, she hopes to be a novelist and attend Rollins College to further her education. Aside from newspaper, she is looking forward to her Chemistry and AP English Language/Composition classes. When Monsanto is not writing, she enjoys playing video games, doing her makeup, reading, drawing, and running track. She hopes to be on the Winter Springs track team. This year, Adriana is hoping to improve her copy editing skills, as well as write more editorials and opinion pieces. Usually, Monsanto strays towards writing entertainment articles pertaining to her favorite music groups, movies, and video games. 

Adriana was born in Orlando, and her family is from Puerto Rico. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping for makeup and spending time with her family; she has a little sister and a pet mini dachshund. Monsanto is looking forward to her sophomore year at Winter Springs, as well as her second year with the Bear Truth News. She cannot wait to see what this year has in store for her, and what new opportunities come about.
