Coming back from her break, Adele has broken records and hit the ground running. She has released new album, 25, with her hit single “Hello” that sold about three million copies in the U.S. in the first week of its release.

Adele is a legendary artist who is loved by all generations. Not only do teenagers enjoy listening to her music, but so do the parents, possibly because her songs can be related to almost any life situation. In addition, the image that Adele has on her audience and on her fans is very respectable and mature; she does not portray herself as an object, but rather a decent woman who has a plan and is very successfully working on it.

Back in 2012, after her multiple Grammy wins for her album 21, in an interview with Vogue magazine, Adele mentioned, “I won’t come out with new music until it’s better than 21.” And she certainly has, with her album breaking the record of “fastest selling album” that was once held by NSYNC.

In the same Vogue interview, Adele revealed her desire for a break from the spotlight: ‘If I am constantly working, my relationships fail. So at least now I can have enough time to write a happy record. And be in love and be happy.’ After spending time with her son and boyfriend, as well as having a full recovery from her throat surgery, Adele starts her tour in the beginning of 2016. The reason for her operation was that she had a polyp on her vocal chord that had hemorrhaged. She was operated on the doctor that was recommended by many other artists such as Julie Andrews.

Adele starts her European leg of her 25 tour on February 29th, 2016, and has not announced any specific cities or dates for America, but she eventually will be coming to the U.S.

The new album consists of many songs that touch the hearts of all generations because of her mature and different sound. Furthermore, Adele has a unique type of “feeling” in her music. The song “A Million Years Ago” is particularly loved because of the meaningful lyrics that can cause nostalgia for many listeners. With lyrics such as “…I miss the air. I miss my friends. I miss my mother…”

After breaking many records, Adele is on her way to success.
