Ty Slain is the quarterback for the WSHS varsity football team. He has scored five touchdowns. Ty Slain moved from the freshman team to varsity due to injuries sustained to the previous Quarterback. “I was nervous at first going from Freshman to Varsity, but after practice with the Varsity team for a while, I got comfortable around them. This made me a better player. Slain’s  first touchdown was a great adrenaline rush, and I knew I worked really hard to get there. I’m really proud for myself and my team.” Ty Slain is a talented football player, throwing precise bomber passes to wide receivers, and not being afraid to take the ball into the endzone.
