Kaitlyn Ersch, Public Relations Manager
Kaitlyn Ersch is a Junior and second year member of the Bear Truth News. While Kaitlyn is an incredible news writer, her special talent that she brings to the paper is her photography skills. She enjoys taking photos for her and her fellow writers’ articles to brighten up the newspaper pages. Kaitlyn’s favorite photos to take are action shoots at Winter Springs sports games. Her goal this school year is to teach and lead more photography workshops within the paper to prioritize including higher quality photos in published issues. Outside of newspaper, Kaitlyn is a softball player for the school. She is a first baseman and can’t wait for her upcoming season preparation to get back together with her team, coaches, and get back to the sport she loves.
Kaitlyn is a leader in all areas of her life, from her various extracurriculars, to her own home. She is the oldest of four children and loves spending time playing with her younger siblings. Her favorite part of being an older sister is taking care of them and unleashing her caring, maternal side. Braiding her younger sisters’ hair is a prized memory that she cherishes and will always look back on. This bond in particular is what has ignited her interest in cosmetology and hair styling. After high school, Kaitlyn plans to go to cosmetology school and one day open her own salon.
This bright and creative student adds great value to the Bear Truth News making her a vital member of the program.
