The Winter Springs High School newspaper staff consists of many diverse and special students. One of those students is a junior by the name of Adison Pierce. Pierce has written several amazing articles such as “Canines cause chaos for postal workers,” and “Cheer squad impresses crowds”

Although these are phenomenal articles, she did not become a great writer overnight. Pierce brings a lot to the team and was willing to work hard every year to further hone her craft. Pierce has been in the newspaper staff for two years already and she is going on for her third. Not only is she a writing prodigy but she is also a star softball player here at Winter Springs. Currently positioned at third base, Pierce is no stranger to hard work. She has put in countless hours day and night perfecting her craft and sharpening her skills. 

Pierce started playing softball at a young age and has ceased to stop to this day. When asked why she works so hard, she had very moving comments to say “I work hard because it drives me to be the best person I can be.” With all this being said, Pierce has been a key member of the newspaper staff for the past two years and most staff members look forward to having her back.
