Ms. Traccie Eudell is Winter Springs High School’s bookkeeper, and an integral part of our school. As bookkeeper, Eudell works with the school’s money, storing the school’s funds, and handling both internal and external accounts of money. Internal accounts refer to club, sports, fundraiser money; external accounts deal with government funded money for the district. Originally, Eudell did not want to be a bookkeeper. She worked in the front office as a secretary, but was invited to apply for the position by the previous bookkeeper. Eudell applied and got chosen by Principal Gaffney.
For a normal day at work, Eudell comes in, checks her voice mails, looks at her emails, and alternates between working with internal information and external. She most looks forward to speaking with her friends in Student Services every morning, and considers it her “first stop” of a work day. While there are many things Eudell loves about WSHS, she especially loves the girls varsity basketball team. Also, she finds joy in meeting people and students from the school, as well as coaching kids.
Outside of her job, Ms. Eudell loves sports, shopping, and hanging out with her friends. She is very passionate about many different sports; however, Eudell doesn’t follow certain teams as they play. Instead, she keeps up with her favorite players, attending games that they are playing in. As for shopping, she enjoys going to American Eagle and Nike.
Ms. Eudell’s love for her job and compassion for others makes her a valuable member of the Winter Springs staff. She stated, “Every day I come into work, I’m always smiling…I love my job.”
