Amy Brewster, a sophomore, is trying to encourage change within the community. She stated that she is trying “to start a nonprofit organization to help kids mistreated by the system” which will help out many of the children in the community. This organization, while still in progress, is intended to give children better opportunities even if they are in bad situations by providing “a 24-hour community center,” Brewster stated.

Furthermore, Brewster is not only involved in the community but also in her school. She is involved in various clubs including the debate team, the thespian group, and Young Democrats. Brewster said that she “[wants] to become a lawyer that specializes in civil law” and her efforts today demonstrate her commitment to this dream.
