Freshman, McKenzie Cox, is ready to continue her journey as a great softball player. She has been intrigued by this sport since she was just five years old. Cox has strived to be the best at softball by practicing and training day by day. Cox has always been a part of travel ball so she has had the opportunity to travel around the USA, but as of right now she plays in Clermont, Florida. Cox shared that her passion began when she was just playing for fun until people started seeing her true potential and talent. She continued with the sport because of how talented she was and she wanted an opportunity to earn a scholarship. Cox said if she receives  a scholarship she wants to enroll in Florida State University. Cox plans on sticking with softball through high school and maturing in the sport as the years go on.
