On December 6, pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter released A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter on Netflix. The humorous, holiday-themed program was filled with songs, jokes, skits, and more, giving viewers the full Sabrina Carpenter experience.

        The special featured Carpenter’s own Christmas songs from her EP Fruitcake (2023), as well as classic holiday jingles. She started off the program with her original song “buy me presents,” stunning the crowd with her flawless vocals, hot pink dress, and cake-style stage.

Throughout the program, the pop star featured numerous guests, such as Sean Astin, Cara Delevingne, Nico Hiraga, and Kyle Mooney. Her guest stars starred with her in many hilarious skits; for example, Sean Astin portrayed Santa Claus himself in a skit where Carpenter’s character was completely unaware her new boyfriend was the Christmas myth himself.

        Sabrina also performed with many popular artists. For example, Chappell Roan sang “Last Christmas” with Carpenter in a karaoke-style set, their harmonies blending together in a unique way. Shania Twain partnered with the younger singer to sing their rendition of “Santa Baby,” and Kali Uchis sang alongside Sabrina for a cover of “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus.”

        A Nonsense Christmas has only increased the fame that Sabrina has gained over the past year, and has certainly added something special to this holiday season.
