Becca Cosmetics is Closing Down

The corona virus has impacted many businesses financially causing them to go bankrupt. Many major businesses are among the list that had to shut down. One of the well known businesses on that list being Becca Cosmetics.

On February 24, well known makeup brand, Becca Cosmetics, announced that they are shutting down in September. They are having to shut down due to financial impact from the pandemic. Becca Cosmetics is a well known cruelty free makeup brand that has been in business for about 20 years. It is no surprise that the beauty industry is struggling since people don’t need makeup to go out like they used to anymore.“Net sales in makeup declined at all brands,” the company said in its earnings report. They continued to state that “the effects of COVID-19 continued to disproportionately impact makeup usage in most markets, particularly foundation and lip.”

Since Becca Cosmetics is closing down they have some good deals going on. Some of the offers they have are three free deluxe samples if you spend $35+, free shipping on all orders and returns, up to 40% off most products, and 20% off when signing up with an email. 

The most selling product from Becca Cosmetics is the under eye brightening corrector which retails at $32.
