Leyla Finley is a second year basketball player for Winter Springs High School. She is currently on the Varsity team. Finley’s hobbies are mostly playing basketball, but she does have a musical side to her. She is in the school’s band and choir program to express her other loving side of music. Finley would like to share her thoughts on how this school year is so far. “It’s definitely different ‘cause you don’t get to see all your friends cause some might be online and the online stuff was a little weird last year, but I’d like to think the teachers are doing their best.” Finely does hope to apply for UCF but is quite nervous of what will come after college. “I don’t really have a dream job. I’m kind of at a loss for what I want to do for the rest of my life since I don’t want to regret my decision down the line,” said Finley. She will be hoping for the best when the decision comes.
