“I don’t [care] if you’re black, white or any color in between. I don’t care if you’re Christian, you’re Muslim, you’re gay, you’re straight — I’m gonna fight for your equality because I believe that we are all born equal, but we are not treated equal and that is why we must fight. We must fight for the equality of every man, woman and child regardless of race, religion, color, creed and sexual orientation.”
Logic’s performance helped drive a 50% spike in call volume to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline in the hours following the show. The performance featured 50 suicide attempt survivors and loss survivors, and one survivor broke down during the emotional performance.
Overall, the crowd cheered on every performance. There were many talented performers such as Ed Sheeran, Fifth Harmony, The Weeknd, Katy Perry and more!
