Jazmin Velenczei is an exchange student at Winter Springs High School. She is from Hungary, and it is her first time in America. She is a sophomore and lives with an amazing host family for the next ten months. Velenczei has always wanted to become an exchange student to have the chance to expose herself to a new culture, learn new things, and get to know new people. Her interest in journalism is why she decided to join this year. She is hoping to make some new friends while learning about journalism and getting better at expressing herself in English. Velenczei describes herself as an athletic, kind, helpful person. She danced for eight years back in Hungary but she would like to try a new sport here in Winter Springs.
