Bailey McLean is a Junior at Winter Springs High School and also a returning member of The Bear Truth. McLean covers current news that is either happening on campus or around the world. When you first meet her she is very shy and will mostly keep to herself, but once you get to know her more, she’ll open up to you, and you’ll get a chance to see her captivating and electrifying personality. This summer she had the opportunity to write for The Gardner News and the Sentinel & Enterprise in Massachusetts and was able to get two of her articles published. Writing is something that she always wanted to get better at, and the support and guidance that the staff of The Bear Truth News is providing helps her so much. When you ask McLean what made her want to stay another year on the newspaper team she’ll tell you she didn’t want to leave her forever family, the newspaper staff.
