Redemption for the bears! The phenomenal WSHS varsity girls volleyball team clenched the 8A state championship this weekend. After a devastating loss at the last state championships, the team came back with even greater vigor and determination. With a 33-2 record it is no surprise that the girls drew a large and enthusiastic fan base, and many of those fans attended Saturday’s game at nearby UCF. Winning three of four games in the final, the team rallied together and focused on their unifying goal. WSHS could not be more thrilled for our varsity girls volleyball team!
