Gamescom 2021 is an event that is held every year which announces a bunch of upcoming video games similar to the E3 event that they also host every year. A lot of games were announced or released trailers this year. Many big titles such as: Call of Duty: Vanguard Battlefield: 2042 Halo: Infinite Starfield Back4Blood Forza Horizon 5 Far Cry 6 Saints Row and Death Loop.

These games are all highly anticipated with large fan bases, hence why they are such a big deal. What are these games though? Well, Call of Duty is a franchise that has been going on for many years. It is also one of the most well-known gaming franchises in the world. Battlefield: 2042 is a first-person shooter where there are usually two teams fighting to reach an objective using weapons, gadgets, vehicles, and more. The biggest addition to Battlefield: 2042 that makes everyone so excited is the addition of larger and more interactive maps. Some of the teased examples are segments of maps that can open using large doors that can crush your enemies, tornadoes, tsunamis, and rocket launches. Alongside Battlefield, another fan favorite, Halo: Infinite, coming out on December 8th was already announced. However, a gameplay trailer was finally released at Gamescom 2021. Halo is a franchise that makes FPS games, and they are extremely popular especially among Xbox players as the game is Xbox exclusive. Forza is another popular Xbox exclusive title with multiple games behind it with the new Forza Horizon 5 being the newest title coming out on November 5th. This game will be set in Mexico and has shown astonishing graphics in the official announced gameplay and uses photorealism unlike ever before to make it look so real that it is easy to forget you are playing a game.
