Jacob Rosen is a successful junior at WSHS. Rosen is in four honor societies, including National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Tri-M, and Rho Kappa. He is also in the Band of Gold where he plays the saxophone. Rosen thinks that taking AP classes is necessary and essential to getting into a good college. When prompted about advice for incoming freshmen, Rosen had this to say, “Have a plan! Know the things you want to accomplish in high school, and the person you want to be. High school is not always going to go as planned, but a plan will guide you in the right direction to be the best version of yourself. Junior year is very chaotic but in a good way.” As some might say junior year can be tough for some, but “So much goes on during the time of your high school year but it’s going to be worth it!” says Rosen. When Rosen graduates he wants to go to the University of Florida, possibly planning to major in computer science. After that, he said, “It has always been a dream of mine to live in New York.”
