When you first enter the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program as a Junior, you go through a pinning ceremony at the beginning of the year. There, you are recognized as an official candidate for the IB Diploma Program. All of the candidates’ families come and watch in the WSHS auditorium to see the ceremony. During the program, all the students were introduced and lead up on the stage where they received a certificate with their name on it. At the end of the ceremony, there was a group picture taken with all of the candidates holding up their certificate and cake to celebrate their big achievement. Congratulations to the candidates of the IB Diploma for 2020-2021.
