WSHS Lady Bears Lacrosse is Back

Winter Springs High School has a girls’ lacrosse program like no other school. Players get the chance to meet fellow teammates and develop skills during fall ball. The fundamentals and skills learned during off-season practice are then used in games against other high schools in the area.

What makes our school’s girls lacrosse program different than any other school is the girls. Some Lady Bears play year round in order to continue to excel in the sport and have hopes of recruitment. The 2017-2018 season will consist of numerous incoming players, returning players, and a new Varsity head coach.

Coach Gardenhire, a WSHS Class Of  ’06 graduate who played on the school’s team herself, is beyond excited for this opportunity. This season will be one filled with new technique, new gear, new girls, and most importantly, new memories.
