Winter Springs High School’s 2017 prom theme is Carnival!

The dance will be held on Saturday, April 8^th, 2017 at Disney’s House of Blues located at Disney Springs from 7pm -11pm. Ticket sales will begin March 6^th, 2017. From March 6^th, 2017 to March 10^th, 2017 tickets will be $70, from March 13^th, 2017 April 3^rd , 2017 tickets are $75, and from April 4^th, 2017 to April 7^th, 2017 tickets will be $80. Don’t forget if you are bringing a guest that doesn’t attend our school, you will need the proper paperwork to be filled out for them to be permitted at the dance.

For those who are unaware, Carnival is a traditional Brazilian festival that is held every year before Lent all around the world. The festival emphasizes African-Brazilian culture with bright colors, samba music, and feather-covered headwear. Typically, a large parade is held with revelers and floats. In places like Rio de Janeiro, over two million people gather in the streets to enjoy the entertainment.
