Megacon is now coming to Orlando, so pack all belongings and go to it! Megacon is short for the word Mega Convention. Megacon consists of many things that include comic books, science fiction anime, fantasy, and gaming communities. Megacon was first founded by a man named James Breitbiel and it was originally held in the year 1993. The convention was received by a Tampa-based publisher CrossGen in 1999 but wasn’t brought to officially run until 2000.

This event will be held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando on the dates of May 25 through the 28. Megacon features many guests and attractions you can meet and go to along with exclusive things to do. Crowds of people line up for everything in Megacon including all the fun in store!

There are a number of different tickets that include Single Day Passes, Deluxe Pass for all days, Family Pass, Child Pass, and a Premium Pass. One can purchase tickets online or on site box office. Costs for the event mainly depend on whether you purchase them in advance or at the door and what passes you to choose to get.

The times also depend on what days you choose to go because Thursday lasts the hours of 4:00pm to 8:30 pm, Friday lasts 10:00am to 6:30pm, Saturday lasts 10:00am to 6:30pm, and Sunday lasting 10:00am to 4:30pm.

Special guests are also appearing in sections of the convention on certain days throughout the 25^th and 28^th giving a meet and greet to people who are coming to Megacon. These guests come from a variety of TV shows, movies, and even directors. Some of the guests are making their last appearances at the event such as Stan Lee creator of marvel comics.

Megacon also provides hotels and locations to stay at if the people who are coming don’t know quite where to stay. If the prices seem too high to hang around the convention guests tend to stay at a variety of hotels. On their website they have plenty of places to stay that even range from hotels to airlines including their addresses, ratings, and prices to stay.
