This year, Leadership has put together a Winter Spirit Week December 5th-9th. Similar to homecoming week, there will be daily dress up themes and events all throughout the week.

Monday: “Hibernation” – Pajama Day

Wear your pajamas, slippers, sleep masks and robes to school!

Tuesday: “Holiday Movie Day” – Holiday Movie Characters

Some popular Holiday movies to use as inspiration are “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”, “Elf”,   or “A Charlie Brown Christmas”.

Wednesday: “Tacky Christmas Sweater Day” – Tacky Holiday Sweaters

Tacky sweaters are being sold at many stores like Target and Dillard’s now! They are also very       fun and easy to make too!

Thursday: “Island of the Misfit Toys” – Favorite Toy/Character Day

Island of the Misfit Toys comes from the movie “Rudolph and the Island of the Misfit Toys”. This         day is the day to dress as a favorite toy or character. Some examples would be a Barbie doll, a toy  soldier, or Woody from “Toy Story”.

Friday: “Winter Olympics” – Winter Olympic Sportswear

Olympic sports to use for this day could be figure skating, snowboarding, or curling.

It has also been announced that there will be an ice skating rink on campus Friday December 9th from 5-9 PM. Brandon Bradley, senior class president, hopes that everyone will participate in the fun and encourage students to stay in dress code when it comes to their daily costume.
